The Volleyball Team Page is now updated with important dates – please be sure to check back often as changes may occur.
Additionally, please ensure you handle your players Healthy Roster documents ASAP.

Upper St. Clair CommUnity Day 2023 – May 20, 2023
Parade Logistics
Staging takes place between 10:45am – 11:15am in the Upper Parking Lot of USCHS (map on page 3)
Only parade vehicles are allowed in the staging area.
The Upper parking lot (staging area) will be closed off for public use starting at 9:00am on Saturday
morning. If you would like to park your parade vehicle before staging, that is fine. Just tell the officer
that will be stationed at check in. He will have a list of participating parade groups.
Please line up in the order your group is listed below. We will have student council members holding
signs along the route with group numbers. Look for your group number.
Several of you have vehicles that will need special arrangements. I will be in contact with you soon
with further instructions.
Parade starts at 11:30am.
The Parade route is on page 3 of this document.
Throwing candy is allowed. Please make sure the candy is individually wrapped.
Other helpful CommUnity Day tips:
Ride the Complimentary Shuttle Bus!
The Bus Route is on page 4. Additional parking is located at Fort Couch Middle School and Eisenhower
Elementary School and the shuttle will pick you up at both schools. The Shuttle runs from 10:00am –
4:00pm. Many of the friends walking in the parade might want to park and ride. The shuttle will drop
them off in the high school parking lot!
Opening Ceremony
We have a lovely Opening Ceremony at 10:00am in the Veterans Park located next to the Township
Building along McLaughlin Run Road. Please invite all your parade participants to this kick off
celebration! We will hear from local dignitaries, student council students, and a very special
performance from some of our high school choir members. The ceremony takes approximately 20
minutes.

COMMUNITY DAY PARADE

CALLING ALL 2022 VOLLEYBALL PLAYERS – COME JOIN IN WALING IN THE COMMUNITY DAY PARADE!! DETAILS BELOW:

Parade start time: 11:30am
Groups participating in the parade will be asked to arrive at 10:45am to line up (Upper parking lot of USCHS)
We anticipate the parade being over by 12:00pm (noon).

Your group may walk, drive, or even build a float. We encourage dance and music groups to perform along the parade route. Upper St. Clair Public Access Television will be set up along McLaughlin Run Road; groups should be sure to perform in that area as well.
