Upper St. Clair High School Girls Volleyball - 2023

Our USC team had 3 players recognized on the All Section team. Emily O’Malley made 1st team outside hitter, Ellie Tetrick was second team libero, and Kelsey O’Leary made 3rd team as a right side hitter. Congratulations girls!

Our own Morgan Wieczenski was recently named Player of the Week (OH) for the WPIAL Quad A division. In her matches against Moon and Peters Twp, Morgan had a combined 28 kills, 7 aces, and 8 digs. Morgan’s .290 hitting percentage is indicative of her high level of play. Congratulations Morgan!

Emily O’Malley was named the Quad A Player of the Week for the week ending 9/22/19. Emily totaled 7 aces, 54 kills, 2 blocks and 33 digs for the week. Ellie Tetrick was named Quad A Player of the Week for the week ending 9/29/19. She recorded 20 digs, 2 aces and ONE KILL! Congratulations to Emily and Ellie!

On Saturday, September 21st, the USCGVB hosted the annual Junior Varsity tournament. With plenty of talented teams in the mix, pool play was very exciting. Our JV team performed very well, earning the #2 seed heading into bracket play. Our girls made it to the finals, before falling to Seneca Valley. Congratulations girls!
